{"id":17225,"date":"2011-03-02T13:50:00","date_gmt":"2011-03-02T12:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beta.next-finance.net\/news\/sparinvest-acquires-atrium-asset-management\/"},"modified":"2011-03-02T13:50:00","modified_gmt":"2011-03-02T12:50:00","slug":"sparinvest-acquires-atrium-asset-management","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/beta.next-finance.net\/en\/news\/sparinvest-acquires-atrium-asset-management\/","title":{"rendered":"Sparinvest Acquires Atrium Asset Management"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"post_excerpt\">Sparinvest have announced the acquisition of the fund management business of Atrium Partners, a financial advisory company.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nWith this acquisition, Danish Sparinvest is continuing home market consolidation and expanding its value equities team.<\/p>\n<p>The Luxembourg-domiciled fund Atrium Value Partners SICAV \u2013<br \/>\nEuropean Small Cap and Denmark-domiciled Atrium Value Partner \u2013 Europa Small Cap, jointly valued at around EUR 55 million of assets under management, will now be managed by Sparinvest Asset Management.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the deal, the two highly-experienced fund managers, Karsten L\u00f8ngaard and Lisbeth S\u00f8gaard Nielsen, will boost the numbers in Sparinvest\u2019s Value Equities team. The team is headed by Jens Moestrup Rasmussen and currently manages assets valued at EUR 3.4 bn.
