Prior to joining BNP Paribas Investment Partners, Helena, 39, was Policy Adviser to the Private Sector team of Oxfam (Oxford Committee for Famine Relief), a non-governmental organisation fighting injustice and poverty, which she joined in 2005. Among other responsibilities, she was in charge of developing the engagement strategy with institutional investors and managed the \u201cBetter Returns in a Better World\u201d project. Helena began her career in 1998 as a financial consultant for Ubach Munn\u00e9 Consultors in Spain. In 2002, she joined F&C Investments (formerly ISIS Asset Management) as an SRI analyst and at the same time worked as a consultant at Global Witness. In 2004, Helena joined the CoreRatings team as an analyst.<\/p>\n
Helena was awarded a Master\u2019s degree in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
