He joined<br \/>\nDeutsche Bank in 1996 and has worked in Frankfurt am Main,<br \/>\nD\u00fcsseldorf and Paris. Since January 2006, he has been<br \/>\nmanaging Deutsche Bank&#8217;s EU representation in Brussels as<br \/>\nDelegate of the Management Board for EU affairs. <\/p>\n<p>Dr. Stephan Leithner, member of the Management Board of<br \/>\nDeutsche Bank with responsibility for Europe, said: &#8220;Ansgar<br \/>\nTietmeyer has actively and successfully represented Deutsche<br \/>\nBank&#8217;s interests vis-\u00e0-vis EU institutions in recent years<br \/>\nand taken on responsibility in a number of committees.<br \/>\nDuring the financial and sovereign debt crisis he was able<br \/>\nto establish the bank as an active discussion partner for<br \/>\npoliticians and regulators in Brussels. His experience of<br \/>\nEuropean affairs and EU institutions will prove very useful<br \/>\nin his new position in Berlin.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Ansgar Tietmeyer (45) is to take over as Head of<br \/>\nDeutsche Bank&#8217;s Public Affairs department in Berlin on 1<br \/>\nFebruary 2013.
