Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Philip Lee
\nas Chief Country Officer, Singapore, and Vice Chairman,
\nSouth East Asia effective from 8 July, 2013. He will take
\nover from Ronny Tan as Chief Country Officer for Singapore
\nand in addition will also work across all the Bank’s
\nbusiness divisions to develop the Bank’s client activities
\nin South East Asia. Mr. Tan will continue with the Bank as
\nVice Chairman, Deutsche Bank, Singapore, having played an
\nimportant role in the development of the Bank’s Singapore
\nfranchise for 12 years. Mr. Lee will report to Gunit Chadha
\nand Alan Cloete, Co-Chief Executive Officers, Asia Pacific,
\nand Members of the Group Executive Committee.<\/p>\n

Announcing the appointment, Gunit Chadha said, “Philip is
\none of the most senior, accomplished and well known bankers
\nboth in Singapore and across the region. He brings great
\ndepth of experience to this important role where he will
\nfocus on the development of our client franchise in
\nSingapore and South East Asia, an area which has significant
\nimportance and potential for the Bank.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Mr. Lee was previously with JP Morgan from 1995, where he
\nmost recently held the roles of Senior Country Officer,
\nSingapore, and CEO, South East Asia Investment Banking.
\nPrior to joining JP Morgan, Mr. Lee held various investment
\nbanking roles with Citibank and Credit Suisse First Boston
\nin New York, Singapore and Hong Kong<\/p>\n

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the
\nUniversity of Southern California and a Master’s in
\nBusiness and International Finance from the Stern School of
