Edward Aitken has joined Nomura as Head of Americas Retail investment banking with
\nresponsibility for coverage of US-based retailers across the hardlines, consumables and
\nsoftlines sub-sectors. He has over 17 years of banking experience including senior roles at
\nMerrill Lynch, where he was a Managing Director in the retail group and led the western
\nconsumer industries practice, RBC Capital Markets and, most recently, Viant Group. <\/p>\n

Richard Eisenberg has joined Nomura as Head of Media investment banking for the Americas.
\nHe has over 15 years of banking experience in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications
\n(TMT) sectors and prior to joining Nomura was a Managing Director in the TMT banking group at
\nJ.P Morgan and, most recently, UBS. <\/p>\n

Ben Adams has joined Nomura\u2019s Healthcare industry group covering the Healthcare Services
\nsector. He has 18 years of banking experience including senior roles at Barclays Capital, Bear
\nStearns and, most recently, BMO Capital Markets where he led the healthcare services practice. <\/p>\n

Christopher Turner has joined Nomura\u2019s Financial Sponsors group in New York where he will
\nfocus on large and mid-cap private equity companies. He has over 25 years of experience in
\nbanking and was most recently a Managing Director in Barclays Capital\u2019s Financial Sponsors
\nteam. <\/p>\n

William Hunter has joined Nomura\u2019s Global Natural Resources investment banking group where
\nhe will focus on coverage of companies in the mining sector. He has over 20 years of banking
\nexperience including senior roles at Jefferies, where he was a Managing Director and head of its
\nglobal mining investment banking group, and Teneo Capital where he focused on providing
\nstrategic advice to natural resources and industrial companies. <\/p>\n

Georges Azzam has joined Nomura\u2019s Mergers and Acquisitions team as Co-Head of Americas
\nM&A. He has over 25 years of experience in the M&A sector, including senior roles in Salomon
\nBrothers\u2019 M&A group and, most recently, Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale, where he was a Managing Director
\nand head of North American corporate finance, M&A and ECM activities. <\/p>\n

These six appointments add to the six senior hires announced in June as part of the firm\u2019s
\nexpansion of its industry coverage and capital markets team in the Americas. <\/p>\n
