The S&P China Sovereign Bond 1-10 Year Spread Adjusted Index comprises Government Bonds issued by the People\u2019s Republic of China, having an outstanding maturity between 1 and 10 years and traded on the Shanghai or Shenzen Stock Exchanges as well as on the Chinese Interbank Market. <\/p>\n
The index currently represents a yield to maturity of 3.2% in Renminbi for an average duration of 4.2 years[[Source: Bloomberg, as of 29th May 2015]].<\/p>\n
