{"id":43461,"date":"2015-07-17T00:05:13","date_gmt":"2015-07-16T22:05:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beta.next-finance.net\/news\/lpfa-and-lcpf-to-appoint-board-for-10bn-partnership\/"},"modified":"2015-07-17T00:05:13","modified_gmt":"2015-07-16T22:05:13","slug":"lpfa-and-lcpf-to-appoint-board-for-10bn-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/beta.next-finance.net\/en\/news\/lpfa-and-lcpf-to-appoint-board-for-10bn-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"LPFA and LCPF to appoint Board for \u00a310bn partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this month it was announced that the partnership, to be called the Lancashire<br \/>\nand London Pensions Partnership (LLPP), would cover all aspects of pension fund<br \/>\nmanagement and be a fully-fledged pension service organisation, providing both<br \/>\njointly managed administration and pooled ALM activities through newly created<br \/>\ncorporate structures.<\/p>\n<p>The LLPP is now using executive search firm Korn Ferry to seek a highly experienced<br \/>\nindividual to chair, lead and manage its Board alongside three Independent NonExecutive<br \/>\nDirectors (NEDs). The Chair and NEDs will oversee the implementation of<br \/>\nstrategy, shape the direction of the organisation and ensure it operates efficiently. The<br \/>\nLCPF and LPFA will nominate two shareholder representatives to the Board, one from<br \/>\neach Pensions Authority, alongside three additional NEDs.<\/p>\n<p>The LLPP is the first collaboration of its kind within the Local Government Pension<br \/>\nScheme (LGPS), creating an end to end Pension Service organisation initially managing<br \/>\nan asset pool of over \u00a310bn.
