This<br \/>\nappointment reinforces the global market expertise of the firm<br \/>\nand confirms its international development.<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Nicolas Breteau graduated from Kedge business school in Bordeaux<br \/>\nwith a Masters degree in Management and Finance. He started his<br \/>\ncarreer in 1993 in the inspection department of MATIF S.A, now<br \/>\nEuronext.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to join FIMAT (Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale Group), where he has<br \/>\noccupied various managerial roles in financial control, middle and backoffice.<br \/>\nIn 1998 he joined the London office to become Head of Risk<br \/>\nEMEA and in 2002 became CEO of FIMAT UK. In 2005 he was<br \/>\npromoted to CEO of FIMAT EMEA. In 2008 FIMAT merged with Calyon<br \/>\nFinancial (Groupe Cr\u00e9dit Agricole) to create Newedge, which rapidly<br \/>\nbecame the world leader in listed derivatives clearing.<\/p>\n<p>In 2009 Nicolas Breteau became Global Head of Sales and Front-office,<br \/>\nand then CEO of Newedge Group in 2010. He resigned from his<br \/>\nposition in 2014 when Newedge\u2019s activities were taken over by Soci\u00e9t\u00e9<br \/>\nG\u00e9n\u00e9rale. <\/p>\n<p>With\t20\tyears\tof\texperience\tin\tClearing,\tPrime Brokerage, electronic trading<br \/>\nand market infrastructure, Nicolas Breteau brings with him a large<br \/>\nnetwork of relationships with banks, asset managers, hedge-funds, as<br \/>\nwell as large corporates.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab We are thrilled to welcome Nicolas and to benefit from his recognised<br \/>\ninternational expertise.
