A net 38 percent of investors are now overweight cash.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>          Net overweights in equities have halved to a net 21 percent from December\u2019s net 42 percent, while bond underweights have retreated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>          Bearishness towards Global Emerging Markets equities has increased to a record level. Europe and Japan remain the most favored stock markets. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201c<em>Investors are not yet \u2018max bearish\u2019. They have yet to accept that we are already well into a normal, cyclical recession\/bear market,<\/em>\u201d said Michael Hartnett, chief investment strategist at BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Investors\u2019 bullishness towards Europe remains intact, but conviction is rooted to the floor.
