The company\u2019s key expertise is in the recovery of methane from coal deposits in former mining regions. Following certification of proven reserves in the Lorraine basin and Northern France, the company is now focused on the production of this high-quality \u201c<em>made in France<\/em>\u201d gas. La Fran\u00e7aise de L\u2019Energie aims to leverage its listing to become a leading player in gas production in France and elsewhere in Europe, particularly Germany and Belgium.<\/p>\n<p>La Fran\u00e7aise de l\u2019Energie (ticker symbol: LFDE) was listed through the admission to trading on 13 June 2016 of 4,615,509 common shares, including 1,388,889 shares issued as part of a Global Offering The Global Offering was made up of a Public Offering that included an Open Price Public Offering and a Global Placement with institutional investors in France and other countries..  <\/p>\n<p>The admission and issue price of La Fran\u00e7aise de l\u2019Energie\u2019s shares was set at \u20ac27 per share. Market capitalisation on the day of listing was \u20ac125 million, and the total amount raised was \u20ac37.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>Julien Moulin, Chairman and CEO of La Fran\u00e7aise de l\u2019Energie, said:\u201c<em>We are very pleased to have completed our IPO on Euronext Paris and to welcome new investors alongside the historical shareholders who have renewed their trust in our team and its vision.
