{"id":54092,"date":"2016-07-06T06:21:39","date_gmt":"2016-07-06T04:21:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beta.next-finance.net\/news\/mirova-finalize-the-closing-of-its-third-renewable-energy-fund-with-350me-commitment\/"},"modified":"2016-07-06T06:21:39","modified_gmt":"2016-07-06T04:21:39","slug":"mirova-finalize-the-closing-of-its-third-renewable-energy-fund-with-350me-commitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/beta.next-finance.net\/en\/news\/mirova-finalize-the-closing-of-its-third-renewable-energy-fund-with-350me-commitment\/","title":{"rendered":"Mirova finalize the closing of its third renewable energy fund, with 350M\u20ac commitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The fundraising has benefited from support by both existing and new institutional investors<br \/>\nfrom several European countries, including the European Investment Bank which invested<br \/>\n40M\u20ac. <\/p>\n<p>Mirova-Eurofideme 3 has already made 8 investments to date for close to 100M\u20ac, in<br \/>\npartnership with independent power producers and developers, financing more than 300MW of<br \/>\nsolar, wind and hydro projects across Europe, with France and the Nordics being its key<br \/>\nmarkets. <\/p>\n<p>This is the third investment fund managed by Mirova dedicated to greenfield renewable energy<br \/>\nassets in Europe, 14 years after the launch of the dedicated Mirova renewable activity. Its first<br \/>\ntwo funds, Fideme and Eurofideme 2, already contributed to finance more than 700MW of<br \/>\nrenewable energy assets. Mirova renewable team received the 2015 award for \u201c<em>Best Green<br \/>\nStrategy<\/em>\u201d at the SIATI Infrastructure Summit at year-end 2015. Mirova-Eurofideme 3 was one<br \/>\nof the first infrastructure funds to receive the new \u201cEnergy and Ecological Transition for<br \/>\nClimate\u201d label promoted by the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and<br \/>\nEnergy since May 2016 to reward investors active in financing the energy and ecological<br \/>\ntransition. Mirova has also received the LuxFLAG1 award, for the quality of ESG implementation<br \/>\nand reporting to investors.<\/p>\n<p>Raphael Lance, Head of Renewable Energy Funds at Mirova, commented: &#8220;<em>We are very proud<br \/>\nto strengthen the relationship we have built over time with our existing investors.
