As a responsible investor engaged in financing the economy, CNP Assurances is continuing its
\ninvestment programme into innovative start-ups by taking a capital stake in H4D. A pioneer company
\nin the field of medical teleconsultation, H4D has completed its second funding round, raising EUR
\n6.7m to finance the commercial development of its e-health solutions including the Consult Station, a
\nconnected medical unit that can remotely perform health check-ups and undertake general or
\nspecialist medical consultations.<\/p>\n
The fundraising exercise was led by a syndicate involving the Innovation Capital Fund, Bpifrance and
\nCNP Assurances. The Luxembourg family office Atoga, the historic shareholder of H4D, has also
\nincreased its investment. Following the deal, Peggy S\u00e9journ\u00e9, Services Strategy Director for the
\nsocial protection and services business unit at CNP Assurances, shall be joining the H4D board of
\ndirectors. <\/p>\n
Since it was founded in 2008, H4D has pursued its original mission to respond to changes in
\nhealthcare needs and combat social and regional inequalities in terms of access to care. By collecting
\ninformation about the patient, such as body temperature, blood pressure, heartrate and bodyweight, or
\nby carrying out ENT examinations and hearing and sight tests, the Consult Station can remotely
\nprocess 85% of the most common reasons for seeking a medical consultation at a classic health
\ncentre.<\/p>\n
CNP Assurances is one of the top 50 institutional investors in unlisted companies worldwide, and one
\nof the leaders in France. The Group annually invests EUR 500-700m in this asset class, and in so
\ndoing supports unlisted businesses throughout their lifecycle. The Group recently launched the Open
\nCNP scheme that aims to finance and support the development of innovative start-ups. This scheme
\nwill also be mutually beneficial to CNP Assurances by stimulating further growth drivers, and
