As part of Open CNP, CNP Assurances is continuing its programme to invest in and partner with innovative startups,
\nand is pleased to announce today that it has taken a stake in Alan. Alan is the leading independent insurance
\ncompany and was founded in France 30 years ago. Its ambition is to develop health insurance in France by
\nconcentrating on the customer experience, long-term care and the deployment of value-added digital services. For
\na flat rate of \u20ac55, Alan offers start-ups and SMEs top-up health insurance with direct subscription that is 100%
\nonline. It takes less than five minutes to sign up on the website.<\/p>\n
The leading investor in this \u20ac12 million fund-raising operation, alongside Power Financial of Canada, Partech
\nVentures and individual entrepreneurs, CNP Assurances plans to support the development of this start-up and will
\nalso be its leading re-insurer. H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Falchier, head of private equity at CNP Assurances and CEO of Open CNP,
\nis joining the Alan board of directors.<\/p>\n
