They are the latest<br \/>\nin a series of new launches and alterations to Deutsche AM\u2019s suite of products that<br \/>\ntrack non market capitalisation-weighted indices, as it looks to secure a leading<br \/>\nposition as a provider of strategic beta solutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>The expansion and evolution of our strategic beta suite of products this year, and the<br \/>\nlaunch of our new minimum volatility ETFs, places us in a strong position to become<br \/>\nthe leading provider of strategic beta ETFs in Europe,<\/em>\u201d said Martin Weithofer, Deutsche<br \/>\nAM\u2019s Head of Strategic Beta.<\/p>\n<p>Deutsche AM\u2019s strategic beta ETFs incorporate a number of equity and fixed income<br \/>\nfunds. It now has 28 strategic beta ETFs within its Europe and Asia-listed UCITS ETF<br \/>\nrange, representing almost EUR 5 billion in assets \u2013 out of a total of approximately<br \/>\nEUR 51 billion in total UCITS ETFs assets under management [[<br \/>\nSource: Deutsche AM, 3 Nov, 2016]].<\/p>\n<p>The new launches complement Deutsche AM\u2019s ETFs providing exposure to MSCI<br \/>\nequity factor indices \u2013 specifically to quality, value, momentum and global minimum<br \/>\nvolatility factors. On top of the factor ETFs, the strategic beta range also includes<br \/>\ndividend-weighted, equal-weighted, and small-cap-weighted equity exposures. On the<br \/>\nfixed income side, the range includes Eurozone and emerging markets qualityweighted<br \/>\nsovereign exposure, and ETFs targeting \u2018yield plus\u2019 sovereign and corporate<br \/>\nbond exposure \u2013 higher yielding fixed income exposure but still mainly to investment<br \/>\ngrade bonds.<\/p>\n<p>The new minimum volatility ETFs are the db x-trackers MSCI USA Minimum Volatility<br \/>\nUCITS ETF (DR) [[A sub-fund of Concept Fund Solutions plc. ]]\n, and the db x-trackers MSCI EMU Minimum Volatility UCITS ETF<br \/>\n(DR) [[A sub-fund of Concept Fund Solutions plc. ]]\n. The ETFs are direct, physical replication funds.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month Deutsche AM hosted its second annual Smart Beta Summit event in<br \/>\nFrankfurt, with more than 150 investors from across Europe gathering to hear the latest<br \/>\ninsights from leading figures within the industry.<\/p>\n<p>Weithofer added: \u201c<em>We expect the rapid growth in strategic beta investing to continue in<br \/>\nthe coming years.
