This new addition extends the range of benchmarks offered by the
\nGerman index engineer, providing investors with a price-competitive alternative to
\nwhat is currently available in the market.<\/p>\n
The previous months have been very active for Solactive with the release of multiple
\nbroad-based indices on the fixed-income side. At the beginning of 2016, the Solactive
\nEuro IG Corporate Index capturing the performance of investment grade corporate
\nbonds issued in EUR was launched. This was followed by the introduction in 2017 of
\nthe Solactive Euro HY Corporate Index and the Solactive USD High Yield Corporate
\nIndex, each providing a snapshot of non-investment grade bond markets denominated
\nin EUR and USD respectively.<\/p>\n
Investors can use the series of Solactive benchmarks as cost-efficient indices to
\nevaluate the performance of segments of the fixed-income market. In addition,
\nbenchmarks can constitute the starting universe on which to build smart beta and
\nmore niche strategies. Alternatively, they can be used as foundations of index-linked
\ninvestment products such as ETFs.<\/p>\n

\ndebt issues denominated in USD from both developed and developing markets with an
\namount outstanding of at least USD 400 million and a remaining time to maturity of at
\nleast 18 months. The index is calculated as a total return index and is rebalanced
\nmonthly. All index components must have a rating that is investment grade. The index
\nis based on 1000 at the close of trading on the 31st of January 2005.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
